Product information

The Hilltop Packs Food Bag is an ultralight food sack.

These sacks are made from ultralight, waterproof Challenge D50T fabric and are printed with original designs. Compared to standard roll-top sacks, and thanks to their wide opening, these food sacks are shaped for easy handling and storage of food in a backpack. At the same time, they protect the contents against water and are prepared for hanging on a tree when food needs to be protected from animals (rope is not included). The capacity is sufficient for approximately a 3–7 day trek.

They are also a popular gift for hikers thanks to funny designs.

Tenhle foodsack si mě vybral už jen tím potiskem :) Baví mě, když je gear, který se navíc používá dennodenně, nejen praktický, ale i stylový.
Oproti jiným vakům na jídlo má Hilltop packs opravdu prostorný otvor a jídlo se mi v něm skvěle hledalo. Navíc má vnitřní úpravu ideální na snadné vymytí nečistot. A hlavně se nedrolí!
Nepromokavost oceňuju při věšení jídla přes noc na strom. Stejně jako poutko, do kterého se cvakne karabina z lanka, kterým se vak věší. Nicméně už jen pro organizaci jídla v batohu si beru Hilltop s sebou i po českých kopcích.
Možná bych ocenila malinko větší velikost pro treky, kdy se jde s jídlem cca na týden. Dá se to tam nacpat, ale pak se nedá víckrát zarolovat, aby byl opravdu nepromokavý.
Asi si pořídím ještě jeden zvlášť na svačiny :)
