Gossamer Gear LT5 Trekking Poles are the lightest 3-piece telescopic poles on the market. They are made of carbon, so they are lighter than the lightest aluminum alternatives. Carbon also absorbs vibrations better than aluminium. On the other hand, carbon poles are not suitable for extreme load, which is not a problem when walking lightly in normal terrain.

S hůlkami mám zatím nachozeno během 14 zhruba 100 km v Krkonoších. Musím uznat, že rozdíl ve váze oproti mým značky Lekki z roku 1999 je neuvěřitelný. Jsou vážně lehoučké, člověk je ani po 30 km v ruce necítí.

Životnost zatím nemohu ověřit. Dotahuji vysouvací segmenty s citem, proto se mne občas při větší zátěži jeden ze segmentů mírně zastrčí zpátky. Ale to bude spíše uživatelský nedostatek.

"Pěnové madlo" je lepší, než korek, co jsem měl na Lekki - nepotí se tolik ruce. Bohužel nejsou v balení zimní talířky. Ale když na tím přemýšlím, tak si ke sněžnicím vezmu jiné. Přeci jenom karbonu je do sněhu škoda :-)
