The Olympus 275 is a the most cushioned in Altra. The shoes have all the advantages you've come to expect from Altra. A roomy toe box, zero drop, and low weight. In addition, they have a high midsole that guarantees comfort even on long distance trails.

The MATRYX upper material is reinforced with Kevlar fibers (every third fiber is Kevlar). This increases its durability while maintaining low weight and high breathability.

The advantage of trail shoes over hiking boots is their lightness, comfort, and softness. Trail shoes significantly minimize the likelihood of pressure points and blisters, and thanks to their low weight, your feet won't tire as quickly. Other advantages include excellent breathability, a feature we particularly appreciate on summer treks - your feet don't get unnecessarily sweaty in them. Compared to classic trekking shoes or any shoes with a membrane, they dry significantly faster. When walking in strong winds, rain, and wet terrain, they have proven to be excellent in combination with waterproof socks.
