The Montbell Fishing hat is more than just a fishing hat. It's a great ultralight hat for travelling and hiking. Features a brim that is shorter in front and longer in the back. This design gives you greater visibility and increases wind resistance. The material dries quickly and has a DWR treatment to shed water. Buttons on the side of the hat can be used to fold up and secure the brims.

Blocks more than 90% of UV radiation
UV Cut is the percentage of UVA / UVB radiation that a fabric blocks from reaching your skin. UV Cut is affected by fabric color, weave/knit, and material. We base our testing standards on white fabric, generally the least effective. Even our light-colored fabrics block more than 90%of UV radiation, offering a way to reduce exposure. Use sunscreen and other methods to further increase protection. (Exceptions may apply to mesh fabrics.)
•UV Cut is NOT the same as UPF, which measures how much UVA / UVB a fabric allows to reach your skin. These are NOT equivalent ratings and use different testing methods.

Dlouho jsem na dálkových trecích řešil problémy s úžehem. Vyzkoušel jsem různé kšiltovky různých značek a různých barev, ale nic mi nepomáhalo až do chvíle, než jsem přešel na klobouky. Zakrytí celé hlavy je při celodenním trekování na slunci klíčové, abyste nejen nedostali úžeh, ale zároveň si nespálili krk, uši a nos. Klobouk Montbell Fishing hat, který se mnou absolvoval třeba 930 km dlouhý přechod východních Alp po Via Alpina Yellow-Red Combo, jsem si oblíbil hned od začátku díky tomu, že má ideální velikost a tvar a je lehoučký. Charakterizuje ho úžasné vyvážení zbalitelnosti a pevnosti a skvělá ochrana proti slunci. Líbí si na něm i šňůra na stahování po krkem, kterou využívám zejména ve větším větru. Od té doby, co ho nosím, jsem na neměl žádný úžeh.
