The Junction 55 (formerly 3400 Junction) offers the ultimate versatility on your treks.
The versatile Junction 55 allows you to keep your options open when it comes to packing for a big weekend, multi-day section hikes, thru hikes, or to meet the gear demands of changing seasons and environments. Ideal when resupply points are less frequent and/or for equipment flexibility is needed. When the extra volume is not in use, the Junction 55’s top can roll down enough to make the overall size of the pack similar to the Junction 40, but that additional space can come in pretty handy when you need it.
If you need something smaller look at Junction 40.

How to measure backpack size:
Start out by tilting your head forward and finding the bony bulge at the base of your neck. That's your C7 vertebra and the top of your torso length.
Next, find the tops of your hipbones and place your hands on your hips with your thumbs pointing towards your spine. Where your thumbs would meet in the middle of your back is the bottom of your torso length.
