Product information

The Gossamer Gear Mariposa 60 is an ultralight backpack with plenty of storage space for long-distance treks and pilgrimages. Comes with a hip belt size M.

The backpack won the Editors' choice award as the best ultralight backpack in the Outdoorgearlab.com test. It has been ranked at the top for a long time. We recommend it especially for long hiking trips, where you will appreciate the ample internal space along with the extra-large external pockets (60l in total).

It is one of the most popular packs on long distance treks like the PCT due to the combination of very light weight for the volume, comfort of carrying, and sufficient durability for this type of travel. Compared to its brother pack, the Gorilla 50 adds balance straps on the shoulders to increase comfort under heavier loads, in addition to the larger volume.

In size S and when filled to the appropriate limits with the use of the compression straps, it can also be taken as hand luggage on the plane.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE OF THE BACKPACK?

Have the length of your spine measured from the level of the iliac crest (the top of the bone on the side of your back) to the C7 vertebrae at the base of your neck. This is the top of the first vertebra that protrudes when the head is tilted.

Jednoznačne láska. Ľahučký, pohodlný, predný klokaní vak je malý zázrak. To že nie je nepremokavý mi vôbec neprekáža, nakoľko ho dopĺňam troma nepremokavými vakmi, takže v ňom mam aspoň pekne rozdelené veci. Nemám mu čo vytknúť.

U Gossamer Gear batohů jsem si zamilovala vyjímatelnou zádovou minikarimatku. Jednak mám vždycky po ruce sedátko, když je třeba chladno nebo mokro, jednak ji používám pod nohy nebo pod hlavu při bivakování - mohla jsem si díky tomu zkrátit pěnovou karimatku Z-Lite, takže je skladnější a lehčí.

Pohodlně se nosí (na rozdíl od mnoha batohů s komplikovaným zádovým systémem) a skvělé je uspořádání kapes, díky kterému nemusím několikrát denně lézt dovnitř batohu (pokud si věci systematicky rozmístím). Přijde mi pohodlnější, když je plná, než když je poloplná.

Jednou za čas ji vyperu v pračce na 30°C (bez zádové minikarimatky a bez vyjímatelného rámu). Dělám to tak roky a nikdy se nepoškodila.

Na rozdíl od Gossamer Gear Gorilla 50 nemá po stranách kompresní popruhy, což bych ocenila zejména, nen-li batoh zcela naplněn.

Lehký batoh. Vejde se mi tam vše pro bivakování. Odolný materiál, není nepromokavý. Je nutno si to zajistit velkým pytlem na odpadky. Jsem začátečník v pochodech po přírodě.

Ideální batoh, pokud potřebujete co nejnižší váhu, už se mnou procestoval několik zemí a absolvoval mnoho výletů po ČR. Na cestování na lehko ideální i na dlouhodobé výlety. Jen pro mě jako fotografku, už musím omezit množství techniky, co v něm táhnu a vzít jen to základní,a bych to nepřehnala s prostorem i váhou, ale pro "normálního" cestovatele naprosto dostačující (hobby fotografka na cestách:)).
